What Does the Black Republican Caucus of Florida Do?

The Black Republican Caucus of Florida is the largest Black Republican organization in the state. Under Chairman Sean P. Jackson, it works year-round to grow Black participation in Republican politics, develop leaders, and stay present in communities across all 67 counties.

What is its mission?

The caucus exists to give Black Floridians a real seat at the table in Republican politics — to grow participation, develop candidates and leaders, and make sure Black communities are courted and heard rather than taken for granted. It is built on the belief that engagement is earned year-round, not rented at election time.

What does the caucus actually do?

Day to day, that means organizing across Florida's 67 counties, developing and supporting candidates and local leaders, engaging voters directly in their communities, and keeping a consistent presence that outlasts any single campaign. The caucus pairs local organizing with a statewide voice on the issues that matter to Black families.

Who leads it?

The caucus is led by Chairman Sean P. Jackson, now in his third consecutive term, who has grown it into the largest Black Republican organization in the state and one of Florida's most recognizable platforms for Black conservatives.
